What a great tavern! Lovely, lovely atmosphere and even better food! There was a clown that would not leave the corner though. He kept whispering he was going to eat me then eat my food. Not my chicken frittatas I said! LOL! 11/10
Woot woot! Review #200! Good burgers & sandwiches at the bar that's at the T in the road in this small town. BF & I stopped in on labor day for lunch, and I had the T road burger, while he has the BLT. Huge portions, tasty food, although my delicious burger did have too much bbq sauce as it was running down my hands. Service was a little slow at getting their food out, but they were serving a birthday party at the same time. In the meantime we noshed on the free popcorn. Vikes fans, they run a bunch of game time specials too. If you're ever out that direction, stop in for a quick bite.
Love this place! Kenny Converse, the owner, is extremely likable and has a fun atmosphere for all who come in. The food is a typical bar type food, but excellent! It's on the smaller side, but it's a tavern. Well worth stopping by when utilizing the trail that runs not very far from it or just passing through town too!
Went here last night with a group of friends because we'd heard about the burgers. I had the standard cheese burger and my wife had the bourbon Swiss burger. Both were excellent. They have a good selection of beers and spirits, and the proprietors and staff were very friendly. Prices were reasonable. Can't wait till the summer months when we can enjoy the outside seating.
One of the BEST burgers around. It's worth the trip for the quality of the meat. Mushroom Swiss was perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful at a great price. Lots of choices besides burgers served in a typical tavern atmosphere. Big outdoor space for dining in nice weather. Justin, our server, was efficient and friendly. If you're on a road trip west, give it a try!
